A flyweight division attraction has been added to the June 3 UFC Fight Night card according to Elliott himself as #11 Tim Elliott faces Allan Nascimento.
Elliott (18-12-1) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Ryan Benoit, Jordan Espinosa and Tagir Ulanbekov. Elliott has previously challenged for the UFC Flyweight Title, losing to then champion Demetrious Johnson at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale. Elliott has earned 18 wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of those came by way of decision.
Nascimento (20-6-0) enters this contest riding a two fight winning streak, picking up wins over Jake Hadley and Carlos Hernandez. Nascimento also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil, suffering a split decision loss to Raulian Paiva. Nascimento has suffered six losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, June 3 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
