A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC 288 according to MMA Junkie as #14 Drew Dober faces Matt Frevola.

Dober (26-11-0-1NC) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, defeating Terrance McKinney, Rafael Alves and Bobby Green. Dober hasn’t been defeated in nearly two years, with his last loss coming to Brad Riddell at UFC 263 in June of 2021. Dober has earned 26 wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them have come by way of KO/TKO.

Frevola (10-3-1) comes into the bout riding a two fight winning streak, with those wins coming against the duo of Genaro Valdez and Ottman Azaitar. Frevola has seen his last three fights end in the first round and it has been over two years since he fought past round one. Frevola is competing on his fifth straight UFC PPV card, holding a 2-2-0 record in those previous four fights.

UFC 288 takes place on Saturday, May 6 from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey with Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejudo headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
