Coastal Championship Wrestling Mourns the Loss of Tony Garito;

It is with deep sorrow that Coastal Championship Wrestling (CCW) received the devastating news today of the passing of Tony Garito, known affectionately in the wrestling world as "The Pimp with the Limp." Tony's unforgettable moniker originated when he made a memorable entrance at a Halloween wrestling event, dressed as a pimp, and the name resonated ever since.

Tony Garito holds a special place in the hearts of CCW's founders as the very first student to step through the doors of Bodyslam University, which would later become the renowned CCW Training Facility. The historic announcement was made at an independent wrestling show in December of 2003, stating that BSU would commence operations in January. Tony, demonstrating unwavering enthusiasm, was the first to eagerly inquire about further details.

Having been born with Cerebral Palsy, Tony's athletic abilities were limited, prompting initial concerns from CCW regarding liability. However, Tony's sheer determination prevailed. Brimming with unyielding resolve, he declared, "I'll sign anything you want me to sign, I can do this!" Tony's relentless pursuit of his dream never wavered, attending every practice and refusing to succumb to the challenges of training, despite the pain caused by his condition.

Though he never had the opportunity to compete in a wrestling match, Tony's presence graced numerous CCW shows as a manager known as Mr. TTP. His unwavering love for wrestling was matched only by the adoration he received from the wrestling community. Tony faithfully supported wrestling promotions that made their way to South Florida, exemplifying his passion for the sport.

The entire CCW family deeply mourns the loss of Tony Garito, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Tony's indomitable spirit, unwavering dedication, and his role as Mr. TTP will forever be cherished. May he rest in peace.
