It was announced last month that the PFL has bought Bellator MMA, merging arguably the number two and number three MMA promotions in the world.
One person who doesn’t seem too impressed with the merger is UFC CEO Dana White, who says neither promotion can sell tickets to their events.
"It's f—king hilarious, but yeah, good for them. I wish them all the luck in the world," White told the media after UFC Austin (transcript via Alexander Behunin of MMA Mania). "I've covered this before; you must not have heard it. One shi—y organization that sells no tickets and nobody watches buys another shi—y organization that sells no tickets and nobody watches. Sounds like a f—king winner to me, boy. Right? Woo hoo."
Although nothing has been made official at this time, a champions versus champions card between the PFL and Bellator champions could be happening in early 2024.
