MOTOR CITY MACHINEGUNS SET TO COMPETE FOR CITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING IN MICHIGAN

By Mike Johnson on 4/12/2024 4:34 PM

City Championship Wrestling is proud to present its Third Anniversary event, which promises to be an unforgettable night filled with nonstop action and excitement. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at L'Anse Creuse High School CENTRAL in Harrison Township, Michigan (off of Metro Prkwy and Crocker Blvd), located at 38495 Lanse Creuse St, Harrison Twp, MI 48045.

The event will feature three main events, including a Heavyweight Championship match between Andre Kabashi and Freedom Ramsey. They have been embroiled in a blood feud since their first clash in the Center Line Heritage Cup Tournament at the first event in June 2021. Ramsey, a fan favorite, has yet to claim the Championship, but could this be his moment? This is a match-three years in the making!

The second main event is a Tag Team Championship match between Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) and New Albania (Jay Abrams and Ike Watts). The Tag Team Championship is currently vacant after Freedom Ramsey exchanged his Tag Team Championship for a shot at Andre Kabashi's Heavyweight Championship. After winning the WORLD RECORD SETTING, BIGGEST TAG TEAM GAUNTLET MATCH EVER to become the number one contender, New Albania will take on the team that actually LOST to Freedom Ramsey and "Suplex Shogun" Jackson Stone. We're talking about Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, the Motor City Machine Guns, in what promises to be a thrilling matchup unlike any other.

The final main event is a 50-man Two-Ring Battle Royale, where competitors will battle to become the number one contender to the prestigious Heavyweight Championship title belt. The high-stakes battle will involve 50 competitors with a combined weight of 10,000 POUNDS. Elimination can occur through pinfall, submission, knockout, or being thrown over the top rope, resulting in an 8-foot drop to the unforgiving floor. The ultimate survivor will have the opportunity to compete for the Heavyweight Championship. Regardless of who holds the belt, Freedom Ramsey or Andre Kabashi.

In addition to the three huge main events, the third-year anniversary event will feature a full undercard of TWELVE(12) Matches... featuring some of the finest wrestlers from City Championship Wrestling, including Darion Ultra, "The Natural" Lance Starr, Leela Hall, K.J. Reynolds, Ryan Matthias, and Max Reign. Wrestlers from other states in the Midwest, such as Chucky Bates, Gunner Wixx, Armando Alvarez, War Hoss (Pat The Bruiser and Crosshairs Kelly), Paragon, and many more, will also be in attendance. Several local legends and international stars have already graced the confines of City Championship Wrestling, so you never know who might attend the Third Anniversary Event.
