PROGRESS WRESTLING TITLE TO BE DEFENDED IN NYC THIS WEEKEND

Simon Miller to Defend Proteus Championship at DEFY x PROGRESS Weekender in U.S. Debut

London, England – November 27, 2024 – PROGRESS Wrestling is thrilled to announce that Simon Miller, the reigning Proteus Champion, will make his U.S. debut by defending his title at the upcoming DEFY x PROGRESS events in Brooklyn, New York, and Chicago, Illinois. This marks the first time the Proteus Championship will be contested outside the United Kingdom, elevating it to world title status.

Miller captured the Proteus Championship at PROGRESS Wrestling Chapter 172: WEREWOLVES OF LONDON on October 27, 2024, by defeating Will Ospreay’s former Swords of Essex tag partner, Robbo. Since then, he has embraced a fan-driven approach, allowing supporters to vote on the stipulations for his title defenses. This innovative method will continue for his U.S. defenses, with fans having the opportunity to influence the match conditions.

The DEFY x PROGRESS weekender features two highly anticipated events:
