Pro Wrestling Fundraiser Returns to Medina with Empire State Wrestling's "Spring Smash 3"
MEDINA, NY — Empire State Wrestling (ESW) is set to bring hard-hitting action back to Medina High School on Saturday, April 26 for Spring Smash 3, the third consecutive year the promotion has held an event at the venue. The show continues a long-standing partnership between ESW and the East Shelby Volunteer Fire Department, with proceeds from the event benefiting the department’s ongoing operations.
Originally launched in 2018 as a fundraiser at the Orleans County 4-H Fairgrounds in Albion, the collaboration with the East Shelby VFD has become a staple of the local wrestling calendar.
Featured matches announced for Spring Smash 3 include:
ESW Heavyweight Championship
"Invincible" Vince Valor (c) vs. "Big League" John McChesney
ESW Women’s Championship
"Courageous" Christina Marie (c) vs. "Miss Desirable" Eden Grey
Special Appearances:
Medina natives "A Cut Above the Rest" Gavin Glass and "Filthy" Maxx Cannon are also scheduled to appear before their hometown crowd.
