LOVE PRO WRESTLING RETURNS TO THE REC ROOM ON FRIDAY
All Elite Wrestling star Deonna Purrazzo makes Love Pro Wrestling debut at LPW 37: It’s Gonna Be May
EDMONTON, AB: Love Pro Wrestling returns to the Rec Room South Edmonton this Friday, May 30th for their thirty-seventh event, It’s Gonna Be May. The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM MT/9:00 PM ET, and will be streamed worldwide on IWTV.
“Last month saw the entire landscape of Love Pro Wrestling shift,” commented LPW promoter Spencer Love. “We saw the crowning of a new Grand Champion in Steven Crowe, the shocking return of ROSE for the first time in over a year, the implosion of the RADz, and a shocking alignment of two long-time foes for our upcoming main event.”
This Friday’s main event will feature the team of TY Jackson and “The Thickness” Reid Matthews uniting for the first time ever, taking on their long-time rivals Steven Crowe and Michael Richard Blais of the Clandestine Society. LPW 37 will also feature the debut of All Elite Wrestling superstar Deonna Purrazzo, who will be facing off with the longest-reigning champion in LPW history, Taryn From Accounting. Love Pro Wrestling favourites Marz the Specialist, Elliot Tyler, Lumberjack Larry Woods, and LPW Tag Team Champions, Para Lira, have also been announced for the event.
Since 2021, LPW has been a cornerstone of Canada’s independent wrestling scene, known for high-energy shows, unique collaborations, and community involvement. Last year, Love Pro Wrestling became the first promotion to run events at Rogers Place and West Edmonton Mall's Ice Palace, earning Alberta renewed attention as one of professional wrestling's premier destinations.
