“Loser Leaves PROGRESS” Match Confirmed for PROGRESS Wrestling Chapter 182: Stay Humble

PROGRESS Wrestling is proud to announce one of the most emotionally charged matches in recent memory – a "Loser Leaves PROGRESS" match between two of the most decorated and determined women to ever step into the Electric Ballroom: Kanji vs Nina Samuels.
Set to take place on Saturday 27 July at Chapter 182: Stay Humble, this match is more than a grudge match – it’s a career-ending clash.
The tension between these two fierce competitors has been simmering for months. Former PROGRESS Women’s World Champion Nina Samuels had long avoided giving Kanji her rightful opportunity, refusing to defend the title against her at PROGRESS Las Vegas.
Instead, fate had other plans. At Super Strong Style 16 earlier this month, Samuels was forced to defend her title against Rhio, with Kanji acting as the special guest referee – a thrilling main-event that saw Nina lose the gold.
Not one to take humiliation lightly, Samuels returned to the ring the very next day and issued a bold challenge to Kanji – a match with the highest possible stakes: if she wins, Kanji leaves PROGRESS Wrestling for good.
Kanji, never one to back down from a fight or a principle, accepted the challenge – but with one condition: the same rule must apply to Nina Samuels.
Now, on July 27th at the iconic Electric Ballroom, these two rivals will settle their score once and for all.
Both women have etched their legacies into PROGRESS history. Their past clashes have left fans in awe – but this time, the consequences are final.
"Only one woman will walk out of Chapter 182 still part of PROGRESS Wrestling," said PROGRESS co-owner Martyn Best. "We are gutted to have to lose one of our top talents but their hatred has spilt over and after Chapter 182 one of Kanji or Nina Samuels will be completely humbled."
