Pro Wrestling Symphony Returns to Brooklyn Bowl With “Rise Up!” Event on July 6th
Pro Wrestling Symphony returns to Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl on July 6th with the Pro Wrestling Symphony: Rise Up! event. The show will be headlined by Violence Is Forever taking on Royal Prestige in a tag team bout.
Known as one of the most decorated tag teams currently on the independent wrestling scene, VIF’s Kevin Ku and Dominic Garrini dominated Music City for years as the Southern Underground Pro (aka SUP) Tag Team Champions. After SUP closed in 2022, the pair went on to find success in companies such as Game Changer Wrestling (GCW), ACTION Wrestling and Deadlock Pro-Wrestling (DPW). Shortly after PWS’ debut event, Ku and Garrini offered an open challenge to any tag team for their Nashville return. TeVon Jordyn & Majestic, fresh off defeating Fresh Air on June 1st, accepted the challenge.
Elsewhere on the card, Shane Mercer will make his official PWS debut against “The Chicano Kid” Alejandro. Mercer made a surprise appearance at the June 1st event following the five-way Symphony Scramble match, brutally attacking Alejandro before tossing him onto a pile of security guards. When Alejandro finally recovered, he demanded a one-on-one match with “The Iron Demon.”
Three days after defeating Donovan Dijak in the main event of Pro Wrestling Symphony’s debut show, “The Code” Colby Carter had to be rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy. The surgery was a success, and while he won’t be able to compete on the July 6th event, Carter is still scheduled to appear at the Brooklyn Bowl and address the fans in attendance.
Other stars confirmed for the show include Richard Holliday, Ben Bishop, Brittnie Brooks, Tyler Shoop, Freya The Slaya, Kaia McKenna and Shazza McKenzie. Check out the full card below!
