A bantamweight division attraction has been added to the August 2 UFC Fight Night card according to Tom Feely as Ronya Nakamura faces Nathan Fletcher.
Nakamura (9-1-0) is looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came to Muin Gafarov at UFC 311. Nakamura has already earned three wins under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Toshiomi Kazama, Fernia Garcia and Carlos Vera. Nakamura has earned nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come by way of KO/TKO.
Fletcher (9-2-0) has won just one of two thus far in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Zygimantas Ramaska at UFC Fight Night 242. Fletcher has spent the majority of his professional MMA career competing in Cage Warriors, winning eight of nine in the promotion. Fletcher has competed 11 times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night takes place on Saturday, August 2 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Amir Albazi and Tatsuro Taira headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
