RHIO TO DEFEND PROGRESS WOMEN'S TITLE IN TRIPLE THREAT CLASH

By Mike Johnson on 7/21/2025 7:44 AM

Rhio chooses to defend against both Rayne Leverkusen and Kanji in Camden triple threat clash

LONDON, UK – Following the announcement that Nina Samuels has sustained an injury and her scheduled Loser Leaves PROGRESS match against Kanji has been postponed, PROGRESS Wrestling can now confirm that Kanji will still be in action at Chapter 182: Stay Humble - and in championship contention.

At the request of PROGRESS Women’s World Champion Rhio, the women’s title bout has now been officially changed to a Triple Threat Match:

Rhio (c) vs Rayne Leverkusen vs Kanji

Rhio personally requested Kanji’s addition to the match following the postponement of Kanji’s clash with Samuels, citing a desire to face the very best and lead by example as champion.

“I believe in Karma, what you give is what you get returned, Nina Samuels!

Kanji, as you don’t have an opponent for next weekend, how about making the Women’s World Championship match a triple threat???

If you’re up for it, let’s set it up"

Rhio continues to embrace her role as division standard-bearer, seeking to push the bar even higher by facing two of the top contenders simultaneously.

For Rayne Leverkusen, this changes the dynamics of her long-awaited opportunity, as she now finds herself competing against two elite-level opponents rather than one. Meanwhile, Kanji, originally set to risk her entire PROGRESS career against Samuels, will now aim to turn misfortune into momentum and walk out of Camden with championship gold.

With three of the best in-ring performers in the UK scene sharing one ring, this triple threat promises to be a highlight of Chapter 182 and a defining moment for the PROGRESS Women’s Division.
