LOVE PRO WRESTLING CELEBRATES FOURTH ANNIVERSARY EVENT ON OCTOBER 24th
Ladder match, “I Quit” match headline LPW’s four-year anniversary
EDMONTON, AB: On Friday, October 24th, Love Pro Wrestling will celebrate its fourth anniversary in Edmonton with LPW 42: Life, the Universe, and Everything. The event, scheduled to take place at the Rec Room South Edmonton, will feature an “I Quit” matchup for the LPW Challenge Championship, the first-ever Battle Royale in company history, and a main event Ladder Match between Zoë Sager and Steven Crowe for the LPW Grand Championship.
“It’s truly unbelievable to be celebrating our fourth anniversary in Edmonton,” commented LPW founder and owner, Spencer Love. “I feel privileged to be a part of carrying on the legacy of Albertan professional wrestling. Our province has been at the forefront of the industry since the days of Stampede Wrestling, and I’m honoured to be a small part of continuing to make Alberta one of our industries’ hotbeds.”
Love Pro Wrestling launched on October 15th, 2021 with their inaugural event, Change the Game. Since then, LPW has grown to become one of Canada’s flagship promotions, hosting events in collaboration with Rogers Place, West Edmonton Mall, and Purple City Music Festival. Not only has the promotion earned international recognition, but so, too, has the Love Pro Wrestling roster. Last year, former LPW Grand Champion, Zoë Sager, became the first-ever Canadian signed to the WWE ID program. Another former Grand Champion, Marz the Specialist, was recognized by Pro Wrestling Illustrated as one of the world’s top-ranked professional wrestler as part of the yearly “PWI 500”.
LPW 42: Life, the Universe, and Everything takes place at 7:00 PM on Friday, October 24th at the Rec Room in South Edmonton Common. Fans who are unable to attend can tune into the event on Independent Wrestling TV on iPPV. Additionally, LPW will be allowing Alberta teachers into the event for free, pending ticket availability.
