Independent Wrestling promotion, NORTH Wrestling, seek investment
Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK – 23/10/25 – Newcastle based wrestling promotion, NORTH Wrestling is set to grapple with a different kind of opponent by appearing on the latest series of Dragons’ Den on Thursday 23 October 2025.
NORTH Wrestling has long been known to the city’s grappling fans, but an appearance on the popular BBC One business show could send the promotion straight into championship contention.
"Appearing on Dragon's Den was an incredible opportunity," said Andrew Bowers, owner and promoter of NORTH Wrestling. "We're passionate about taking our brand of professional wrestling to the next level and I’m sure our pitch is one they will remember for a long time."
“The north is our home and where we have laid our roots, but we're excited to share our love for professional wrestling with a wider audience and show the rest of the UK exactly what we have to offer."
During the episode, NORTH Wrestling will showcase the promotion's vision, business model, and growth potential. The company is seeking investment to expand operations as part of ambitious plans to solidify themselves as the go to destination for independent wrestling fans in the UK.

Each month, fans from around the country flock to NORTH’s spiritual home, Anarchy Brewery, with many more taking to social media demanding the promotion visit other areas of the country.
