Taipei Death Match: The Fight They Tried to Stop
When Innovate Wrestling announced the Taipei Death Match for Bye Week Bash, fans knew they were about to witness something unforgettable. What nobody expected was the chaos that would follow.
Shortly after the match was announced, Innovate Wrestling received notice from our liability insurance provider stating that the contest could not be approved under our coverage. The original Taipei Death Match was officially pulled from the event.
For a brief moment, it looked like the match was dead.
That’s when Chainz stepped forward.
He publicly challenged Innovate Wrestling to make the match unsanctioned, declaring that “If Innovate won’t sanction it — The Illuminati will.” Chainz also announced that he would personally lead the Illuminati team into battle alongside Nova Fury, Alex Adkins, and Ben Adkins.
Not to be outdone, Tony Givens and Wayne Adkins accepted the challenge — joined by Nicole Pain, who had just made history by becoming the first-ever Innovate Wrestling Women’s Champion at Masquerade.
And then came the final twist:
Toby Farley made his shocking return, stepping up as the fourth member of Team G1. Farley, who was banned from Innovate Wrestling after losing a Loser Leaves Innovate Match to Axton Ray, is legally allowed to compete only because this contest is Unsanctioned.
Each competitor’s fists are taped, dipped in glue, and rolled in shards of broken glass.
There are no disqualifications, no count-outs, and no time limits.
The match can only end by pinfall or submission — if anyone can still stand.
Every punch matters. Every swing cuts deep.
This isn’t sport — it’s survival.
This contest is not sanctioned by Innovate Wrestling, NetPro Studios, or the State of Tennessee.
All participants have signed agreements assuming full liability for any injuries sustained during the course of this match.
