A lightweight division affair is coming to UFC Seattle according to Marcel Dorff as Chase Hooper faces Lance Gibson Jr.
Hooper (16-4-1) has won five of his last six in the UFC, with those wins coming over Nick Fiore, Jordan Leavitt, Viacheslav Boreschav, Clay Guida, and Jim Miller. Hooper competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Canaan Kawaihae by unanimous decision. Hooper has earned 16 wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of submission.
Gibson Jr. (9-2-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, dropping a fight to King Green at UFC On ESPN 73. Gibson Jr. did win five of six when competing in Bellator MMA, with three of those five wins coming by KO/TKO or submission. Gibson Jr. has been beaten twice in his pro MMA career, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission.
