Austin Vanderford has been pulled from UFC Houston according to Marcel Dorff, replacing him against Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani is Phil Rowe.
Lebosnoyani (9-2-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Lebosnoyani competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Jack Congdon by first round knockout. Lebosnoyani has competed 11 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
Rowe (11-6-0) has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Ange Loosa at UFC On ESPN 69. Rowe hasn’t put a winning streak together in over four years and his last such streak lasted for three fights. Rowe has suffered six losses as a professional fighter and five of them came by way of decision.
