A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC Vegas 114 according to Marcel Dorff as Piera Rodriguez faces Sam Hughes.
Rodriguez (11-2-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Josefine Knutsson and Ketlen Souza. Rodriguez has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and they all came in UFC competition. Rodriguez has picked up 11 wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of decision.
Hughes (11-6-0) has won four of her last six in the UFC, with those coming against Jaqueline Amorim, Victoria Dudakova, Stephanie Luciano, and Shauna Bannon. Hughes has lost six fights in her professional career and they all came against current/past UFc fighters. Hughes also competed six times as an amateur fighter and she competed twice against fellow UFC fighter Loopy Godinez.
