A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to the April 25 UFC Fight Night card according to AG Fight as #12 Mayra Bueno Silva faces Michelle Montague.
Silva (10-6-1, 1NC) enters the contest riding a four fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Raquel Pennington, Macy Chiasson, Jasmine Jasudvicius, and Jacqueline Cavalcanti. Silva hasn’t won a fight in nearly three years, with her last win coming over Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night 219. Silva has previously challenged for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title, losing to Raquel Pennington at UFC 297.
Montague (7-0-0) has already picked up a single win in UFC competition, defeating Luana Carolina at UFC Fight Night 260. Montague also competed five times in the PFL and she picked up all five wins by way of submission. Montague has competed seven times as a professional MMA fighter and just one bout went the distance.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Sean Brady and Joaquin Buckley headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
