Former UFC Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira faces BMF Champion Max Holloway for the gold in the main event of UFC 326.
If Oliveira is victorious next month, the fighter would like to have his father present him with the championship belt.
"My father," Oliveira told MMA Junkie through an interpreter. "The reality is if my father and my mother hadn't believed in me and supported me, none of this would've ever happened. None of this would be possible. I wouldn't be here. Having my father put the belt on me, that would be amazing."
Holloway and Oliveira have met once before in the UFC, with Holloway defeating Oliveira via injury at UFC Fight Night 74 in August of 2015.
Oliveira believes that winning the BMF Championship will only add to his legacy.
"It's definitely huge," Oliveira said. "It's one more thing that I can add to my legacy. It's one more achievement. It's great."
