A strawweight division attraction has been added to the April 25 UFC Fight Night card according to Leo Walker Guimaraes as Julia Polastri faces Talita Alencar.
Polastri (14-5-0) has won two of four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Cory McKenna and Karolina Kowalkiewicz. Polastri competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Patricia Alujas by second round submission. Polastri has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those defeats came by way of decision.
Alencar (7-1-1) enters the fight riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Vanessa Demopoulos and Arianne Carnelossi. Alencar also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, fighting Stephanie Luciano to a draw. Alencar has earned seven wins as a professional MMA fighter and four of them have come by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Sean Brady and Joaquin Buckley headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
