There is one less bantamweight fighter under the UFC roster because MMA Mania is reporting that the promotion has cut Gianni Vazquez.
Vazquez went 0-1-0 in the promotion, suffering a decision loss to Javid Basharat, who was also recently released by the UFC. Vazquez did miss weight for the fight, but it should be noted that the fighter accepted the bout on approximately two-days notice. Vazquez does hold a 13-6-0 record as a professional MMA fighter, with his biggest win coming over UFC veteran David Martinez at a Combate Global card in April of 2021.
