JULIEN LEBLANC FACES ROBERT VALENTIN AT UFC WINNIPEG

A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Winnipeg, revealed by the UFC Canada X page, as Julien LeBlanc faces Robert Valentin.

LeBlanc (10-2-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a five fight winning streak. LeBlanc has not been beaten in nearly five years, with his last loss coming to Joel Bauman LFA 104 in April of 2021. LeBlanc has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both losses came by decision.

Valentin (10-6-0, 1NC) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, with those losses coming to Ryan Loder, Torrez Finney, and Ateba Gautier. Valentin hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years, with his last win coming over Zoran Dod at Lions FC 10 in December 2023. Valentin has earned 10 wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of submission. 

UFC Fight Night Winnipeg takes place on Saturday, April 18 from the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Canada with Gilbert Burns and Mike Malott headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
