A flyweight division attraction has been added to the April 18 UFC Fight Night card according to the Iridium Sports Agency as DongHun Choi faces Andre Lima.
Choi (9-0-0) has already earned three wins in the UFC, with those coming over Niushiyue Ji, Angad Bishit, and Kierandip Singh Sahota. Choi was the Road To The UFC Season 3 Flyweight Champion, defeating the aforementioned Sahota in the tournament finals. Choi is still undefeated as a professional MMA fighter and that streak has lasted for over four years.
Lima (11-0-0) has picked up four wins under the UFC banner, with those coming over Igor Severino, Mitch Raposo, Felipe Dos Santos, and Daniel Barez. Lima also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Rickson Thai Zenidim Bueno by unanimous decision. Lima has earned 11 wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of those wins came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night takes place on Saturday, April 18 from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Gilbert Burns and Mike Malott headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
