A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to the April 25 UFC Fight Night card according to Damon Martin of MMA Fighting as Eric McConico faces Rodolfo Vieira.
McConico (10-4-1) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Cody Brundage at UFC On ESPN 72. McConico competed three times in the Tuff N’ Uff promotion, where he holds a victory over UFC veteran Maki Pitolo. McConico has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Vieira (11-4-0) has won six of ten in the UFC, with notable wins coming over Dustin Stoltzfus, Cody Brundage, Armen Petrosyan, and Tresean Gore. Vieira has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came during UFC competition. Vieira has 11 wins as a professional MMA fighter and nine of them came by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Sean Brady and Joaquin Buckley headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
