BURBANK, CALIF. – February 27, 2025 – COMBATE GLOBAL has announced that three-time world boxing champion and unbeaten Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Kenia “Mexican Queen” Enriquez (28-1, 11 KO’s, Boxing; 2-0, MMA) will headline the MMA promotion’s second event of the year on Thursday, March 12 at EstrellaTV’s studio in Burbank, Calif.
 
The event will air live and free-of-charge in the U.S. in Spanish on EstrellaTV and Samsung TV Plus at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT, as well as live worldwide and free-of-charge in English on “FIGHTTIPS”, the YouTube channel of famed MMA content creator Shane Fazen.
 
The 31-year-old Enriquez of Tijuana, B.C., Mexico will square off with CaySea McBride (0-3) in a strawweight (115 pounds) main event contest.
 
In addition to the live U.S. broadcast and global stream., the COMBATE GLOBAL event will air live in Mexico on Samsung TV Plus.
 
“Once boxing was the royalty of combat sports.  Today, MMA has flipped the script and is now on top.  COMBATE royally welcomes boxing champion Kenia Enriquez, queen of the squared circle, into La Jaula,” said COMBATE GLOBAL CEO Campbell McLaren
 
Enriquez is preparing for her third professional MMA bout with veteran fighter and established trainer Carlos “Goku” Arana at Delta Martial Arts in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
 
Since 2014, Enriquez, a 13-year veteran of professional boxing, has held the World Boxing Organization (WBO) world flyweight championship as well as two different World Boxing Council (WBC) interim world championships. 
 
Enriquez is the latest professional boxer to have set foot in La Jaula, the COMBATE GLOBAL competition cage. 
 
Prior to Enriquez’s COMBATE GLOBAL MMA debut, the promotion played host to multiple-time world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano twice between 2018 and 2019, and undefeated boxer and Lucha Libre star, “Sexy Star” Dulce Garcia, on three different occasions between 2019 and 2021.
 
Standing opposite Enriquez, the 32-year-old McBride hails from Portland, Oregon, but also trains in Spokane, Wash. with Sik Jitsu owner and head trainer, Rick Little, as well as undefeated Sik Jitsu fighters Melissa “Mamba” Amaya and Juliana “Killer” Miller.
 
A student of martial arts since the age of six when she took up Tae Kwon Do, McBride holds a black belt in Japanese Ju-Jitsu.
 
The remainder of the COMBATE GLOBAL fight card for March 12 will be announced next week.
