A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 327, first announced by UFC CEO Dana White on Instagram Live, as #12 Patricio Pitbull faces Aaron Pico.
Pitbull (37-8-0) has won just one of two thus far under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Dan Ige at UFC 318. Pitbull is a former two division champion in Bellator MMA, as he held both the featherweight and lightweight gold. Pitbull has earned 37 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 13 of them have come by submission.
Pico (13-5-0) is winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Lerone Murphy at UFC 319. Pico spent the majority of his professional MMA career competing in Bellator MMA, picking up notable victories over Shane Kruchten, Leandro Higo, John De Jesus, Aiden Lee, and Pedro Carvalho. Pico also fought once in the PFL, defeating Henry Corrales by first round TKO at PFL Super Fights.
UFC 327 takes place on Saturday, April 11 from the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida with Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
