A bantamweight division attraction has been added to the April 25 UFC Fight Night card according to Marcel Dorff as Luna Martinetti faces Davey Grant.
Martinetti (17-1-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a 15 fight winning streak. Martinetti competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Mark Vologdin by unanimous decision. Martinetti has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Luigui Zuezada at FFC 29 in September of 2017.
Grant (17-8-0) has won four of his last seven in the UFC, with those wins coming over Louis Smolka, Raphael Assuncao, Ramon Tavares, and Da’Mon Blackshear. Grant made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 18, losing to Chris Holdsworth in the final fight. Grant has suffered eight losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 25 from the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Sean Brady and Joaquin Buckley headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on Paramount+.
