A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 328 according to Octagon Pulse as #5 Aljamain Sterling faces #6 Jean Silva.
Sterling (25-5-0) has won two of three since moving up to featherweight, defeating the duo of Brian Ortega and Calvin Kattar. Sterling is a former UFC Bantamweight Champion, defeating Petr Yan to win the title at UFC 259. Sterling has earned 25 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 13 of them came by decision.
Silva (17-3-0) has won six of seven in the UFC, with notable wins coming over Charles Jourdain, Drew Dober, Bryce Mitchell, and Arnold Allen. Silva competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Kevin Vallejos by unanimous decision. Silva has competed 20 times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of those bouts went the distance.
