Former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor hasn’t competed since a first round TKO loss to former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July of 2021.
A McGregor return could be on the horizon, as the fighter says he is negotiating with the UFC for a Summer return.
“I am in negotiations with the Ultimate Fighting Championship about the bout, either the White House or thereabouts,” McGregor told DrinkLitt (transcript via Damon Martin of MMA Fightng). “Sometime in the summer, McGregor will return.”
McGregor hasn’t won a fight in over six years, with his last victory coming over Donald Cerrone at UFC 246 in January of 2020.
