A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Perth according to Leo Walker Guimaraes as Junior Tafa faces Kevin Christian.
Tafa (6-5-0) has won just two of seven in the UFC, with those wins coming over Parker Porter and Sean Sharaf. Tafa hasn’t won a fight in over a year, with his last win coming over the aforementioned Sharaf at UFC Fight Night 244 in October of 2024. Tafa has competed 11 times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
Christian (9-3-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, dropping a bout to Billy Elekana at UFC Fight Night 263. Christian competed on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Francesco Mazzeo by second round submission. Christian has competed 12 times as a professional MMA fighter and none of his bouts have gone the distance.
