Colby Carter vs. Jeremiah Plunkett No Holds Barred Match Headlines Pro Wrestling Symphony’s No Remorse
The pair’s rivalry has dominated PWS events throughout the summer
Pro Wrestling Symphony returns to East Nashville’s Eastside Bowl on Saturday, Aug. 8th with the No Remorse live event. The headlining match will see Colby Carter and Jeremiah Plunkett’s months-long grudge come to a head in a No Holds Barred Match for the PWS Championship.
The two first met back at Blinding Lights in May, where Carter beat the stalwart veteran with a surprise roll-up. Plunkett snapped in the aftermath, dropping Carter on his head with a Piledriver before inadvertently striking PWS ring announcer Pat Dooley — resulting in an indefinite suspension. But that didn’t stop “The King of the Territories” from jumping Carter at the Nashville Fairgrounds during June’s Music City Fit Expo, and the pair nearly came to blows again at July’s Free For All event at Ole Smoky’s 6th & Peabody. That show’s final moments saw Plunkett’s suspension lifted and the rematch confirmed. Carter was thrilled at the chance to finally get some payback, while Plunkett promised to “expose” the reigning champion.
Elsewhere on the show, fan-favorites Royal Prestige will defend their PWS Tag Team Championships against Top Team, Kaia McKenna will make her first PWS Women’s Championship defense and Jake Painter & Kody Lane will battle it out in a No. 1 contender’s match for a shot at the PWS Championship at the Battle of Five Points live show in September.
