K-FED IS NOT A STAR, TOO MANY COMMERCIALS DURING THE SHOW - SECOND BATCH OF READER FEEDBACK TO RAW

By PWInsiderXtra Readers on 10/24/2006 1:01 PM
We had a 2 hour & 5 minute show with more advertisements & promotions and less wrestling

From K-Fed's CD to 2 Cena Marine promos to the WWE 24/7 promotion AKA "This Week In Wrestling History" Clip to Brooke Hogan's CD to the CD that has the Cyber Sunday Theme to the DX Cap to the DX Shirt to the DX Wristbands and to the so called "Voting" for whatever in the PPV itself (another episode of RAW is PROMOTION [or ADVERTISEMENTS] AKA RAW is BORE took place but let's look at the positive side, Mickie won her match and there was no screw ups as a result of Mickie & Melina's real hatred for each other, and her young man is breaking away from the "Bore Squad".

Ok I'm done (ironic that there was no Cryme Tyme backstage robbing promo, but oh well).

Repeat after me:

KEVIN FEDERLINE IS NOT A STAR.

Oh wait, he IS a star, in that X-PAC sort of way.

This isn't as pathetic and embarrassing as David Arquette as Champ, I actually think it's worse. This man is famous because of his wife (who no doubt bankrolled his new CD) and is certainly the Bobby to her Whitney. Hopefully Britney will learn a lesson from Ms. Houston and send this guy back to loserville where he belongs, if not for her sanity than for the rest of us. And shame on WWE for this glaringly obvious ploy for mainstream media attention. While it may have worked, it only further tarnishes the reputation the pro wrestling industry has.

Thanks, Vince.

The Brooke Hogan CD, the K-FED CD, give me a #$%#$ break. Is this the kind of stuff they think we care about? We don't have time to. We have to care about "The Marine."

As for the rest of the show, consider it a WWE not-so-greatest hits. How many times have we seen the veteran appearance in the Ric Flair match? The Umaga squash job? The low blow/chair shot stealing of victory? The DX sarcastic promo that's really about plugging the merchandise again?

Easily one of the worst RAW shows I've ever seen. I'm now convinced the WWE is deliberately TRYING to make TNA look better to give them a head start.

Raw was pretty much an embarrassment last night. I live in Chicago and I was contemplating going to the show, I'm glad I didn't.

A few things I liked:

Mickie is way over with Chicago crowd, what can I say, we know good wrestling. It's pretty sad though when the womens match was the best on the card.

I'm really liking Cryme Tyme, they're like the WWE version of LAX in a way. They're supposed to be thugs, there's a little crazy guy and a big powerhouse. All they need is a short charismatic black man to manage and do their talking for them.

I was actually happy to see Bischoff back on TV. Although I'm kind of scared now that they're gonna do an nWo angle with Bischoff, Edge, Orton and Lita vs DX.

And what was up with all the nWo shirts in the front row. I'm surprised they didn't take away that huge nWo banner they had.

And the highlight of the night was most definitely Dusty Rhodes and the other legends cleaning house. Roddy Piper should be wrestling, he still looks like he's in great shape and usually has entertaining matches.

I'm not excited for Cyber Sunday just yet, Raw failed to deliver.
