EXTREMELY BORING? - READER FEEDBACK TO ECW

By PWInsiderXtra Readers on 10/25/2006 10:04 AM
So RVD won the shot at The Big Show for the ECW title. I think that was one of the most boring Ladder matches I have seen in a long time. It is certainly not a match Big Show should be in. With all that being said, it makes me wonder one question. If RVD has to wrestle The Big Show again, is the ECW title really that important to him? The flip over the top rope at the end of the match was a pretty sick bump.

I was at the ECW TV show. Boy, what a difference from an authentic ECW crowd compared to the casual WWE-ECW fans. Some people were so clueless on who CM Punk was, Mike Knox. Was anxious to see Punk since he and Samoa Joe went to a draw. Didn't get a great look since match was short which disappointed me. Crowd didn't care for Test/Holly match for anything. When a pin was happening and say Test kicked out, crowd was angry because how bored they were. Not sure how it came on TV or not but "TNA! TNA! TNA!" chants were breaking out, "boring" chants, just crazy but fun chants going on. Overall it was great to see ECW in person for the 1st time for me, and wow I miss the old ECW days, the difference in Paul Heyman's ECW & Vince McMahon's WWECW is frightening.

The show was surprisingly boring. Rebecca is hot, but supremely out of her element.

The CM Punk/Striker match did nothing for me, it was just kind of there. I love Punk's work, but they never seemed to mesh or have any great spots. The same can be said for Holly/Test. They both had great extended matches with RVD, but had no chemistry in this match. And it seemed that it went about 3 minutes too long, like they told them 'We need you to stretch, so don't take the match home yet'. RVD/Show was half as good as last week's match. RVD's offense looks weak against Show, who has upped his game lately. The ending was weak and way too telegraphed. And can someone please demonstrate to Big Show how to properly blade himself. Every time he does it, it's in a clean line and too deep.
