NOT AS GOOD AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN - SECOND BATCH OF READER FEEDBACK TO TNA FINAL RESOLUTION

By PWInsiderXtra Readers on 1/15/2007 10:19 AM
I enjoyed very much the Ali inclusion in the opening package. I was a bit surprised that they didn't start off with an X-Division type match, as they usually do. Rhino and Styles had a good match. They fought a slower paced match than last month. The finish leaves room for another match to break the tie. The X-Division 3 way was just awesome. I haven't seen Lynn wrestle in about 2 years, but he doesn't look 42 at all. I wish when I turns the age I'll be able to move like that.

Mr.. Backland and Nash together, only in TNA. The match itself was decent, but at times it looked like they were more into showboating to the fans than wrestling. Shelley is reminding me allot of Chris Jericho. It was cool to see the Cross face Chicken Wing for old times sake. To me the Petey/ Cowboy match was just filler to me. Watching that match I realized that Storms need Harris badly as he's not a good singles star. Miss Jackie....alrighty then. VKM...more filler, I don't like paying 30 bucks for something that I could see on Impact. Christy may be hot, but she is also kind of of Boring on the mic.

I expected two things out of the LAX/3D match and none happened. I expected 1= a brawl from bell to bell, 2= I expected a title switch and that LAX would take a break until Konnan comes back. That match was ok, but I didn't like the finish at all. I wasn't surprised to see Angle vs. Joe come before the main event, considering the time of 10 pm already, I just felt bad that the title match is probably going to only last about 10 minutes, but considering there match last month, maybe that not a bad idea. Angle and Joe had another good match, not as good as the others, but still a good match. I was shocked to see Angle win though, as I thought Joe would be winning the Title next month. The main event was alright at best, I was surprised to see Abyss go first. I like that Cage got the title back, but I hat the feeling that he might just be a transitional champion and lose it to Angle next month.

For the first time ever, I order 4 straight PPV from one company and this was by far the worst of the last 4 months of TNA PPV. It wasn't a bad show, but it was a stand out show that it could have been.

Joe-Angle could have been so much more dramatic. Ring Announcer time calls every 5 minutes and then every minute from 5 down. Blood. And the ending was way too predictable - why not have Angle tap with 1 second left and then win in sudden death?
